Nicole and John Ball, recipients of our first free CARAFE refill
As you should know when you are in the CARAFE program, you bring your 1.5 liter bottle in and I refill it and sign the place on the label. The 12th refill is "free" and I am proud to announce we have our first complimentary fill, awarded to the fine folks above who enjoy their no-sulfite-added red fresh wine with just about everything and are big fans. I insisted on taking their photo for the website, despite Nicole's protestations that she wasn't wearing her best t-shirt. John said he was wearing his. The photo typifies the wine: unpretentious and delicious.
You just never know who is going to find you on their GPS.
This wonderful family was visiting Stanford from Kenya, and wanted to visit a winery and so looked for one on their GPS. I made it a visit they won't forget with a tour and tasting. The pale lady in the back is Nicole,,,see above.
So you have never been to an art show opening!
They ARE fun, many new friends made. This was Amy Burnett's, particularly successful because it was her first. I was impressed in how she pulled in the crowd. Equally impressive: she sold half the art she was displaying.
