Grape juice, passion and alchemy distinguish the fine winemaking at Ross Valley Winery. Since 1987, with notable success, our small Marin County operation has specialized in transforming modest lots of unique grapes into vineyard-designated wines, each with its own individual character and particular personality. Our endeavor is to provide distinctive wines which represent a good value, in a friendly environment where people are able to participate in and learn about wine and the winemaking process.

Our grapes are surrounded by friendships and festivity. To my knowledge, we are the only bonded winery in the United States involving people in winemaking to the extent we do. Our bottling and picking work parties have left many indelible memories within our community. Barrel tastings and other social events have cemented workfield friendships and developed an even wider range of interested individuals.

I hold closely the enjoyment and comradeship this winery has brought into my life, and reliish the idea of sharing it with you.
